GOVERNANCE & POLICIES

Authority should be visible,
limited, and accountable.

OWI is founder-led while its legal, operational, and governance foundations are developed. Draft concepts are not adopted policy.

CURRENT MODEL

Founder-led, with a documented path toward stewardship.

The founder currently directs the initiative. As OWI develops, roles, decision rights, conflicts, financial controls, review authority, and transition conditions should be written down and made appropriately public.

No advisory body, board, reviewer group, or community vote is implied unless it is explicitly announced with real participants and adopted authority.

ACCOUNTABILITY DESIGN

Six areas to establish before scale.

01

Roles

Who may decide, review, publish, spend, moderate, and administer.

02

Conflicts

How personal, financial, and organizational interests are disclosed and handled.

03

Review

Independent checks for project listings, policies, and sensitive decisions.

04

Corrections

A visible way to challenge, amend, and document important public information.

05

Security

Individual access, least privilege, two-step verification, and audit trails.

06

Transition

Clear readiness conditions for movement toward independent public-interest stewardship.
