Trust includes the record
of what changed.
OWI will distinguish ordinary maintenance from material corrections and record meaningful public changes instead of silently rewriting history.
CORRECTIONS POLICY
Fix errors clearly and proportionately.
- Review credible reports against available sources.
- Correct material factual errors promptly after verification.
- State what changed, when it changed, and why when context matters.
- Preserve appropriate records without exposing private or security-sensitive information.
- Separate corrections from differences of opinion and routine copy edits.
The Contact page can prepare a correction report, but it does not transmit messages yet. An official corrections inbox will be published when email delivery is connected.
